Questioning Lesson

We have been working hard on asking good questions while we read books.  Today, I brought in one of my son's football helmets.  The kids had to write 3 good questions while looking at the helmet.  

Then the helmet was passed around.  Students could try it on, if they wished.  They had to write 3 observations after holding the helmet!

We talked about the questions that were written and discussed the great observations that the class made!
It was a fun Homecoming Friday lesson.
